WELCOME TO UCDS!
UC DEL SOL GIRLS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL (UCDS) is a non-profit organization that provides recreational fastpitch softball for girls aged 5 to 13 in San Diego. As a "C" level league affiliated with USA Softball, we aim to create a supportive and enjoyable environment for young athletes to develop their skills and passion for the game.
UCDS is an all-volunteer-run organization. We rely on the generosity and goodwill of our sponsors and many volunteers to manage the league and complete the many tasks that must be done before, during, and after each softball season.
Our teams practice and play against each other and neighboring softball leagues at Hickman Fields and Standley Fields in the beautiful University City community of San Diego.

As a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) organization, UCDS relies on the generosity of sponsors and donations to cover league expenses like fees, equipment, and field maintenance—all while keeping registration fees low for our athletes. Consider sponsoring or donating to UCDS this holiday season, and don’t forget to check if your company offers corporate matching or volunteer donation programs as an easy way to give back:
Corporate Matching: Many companies match employee donations, often dollar-for-dollar or more. For example, if you donate $100, your company might match that with an additional $100 or more.
Volunteer Donation Programs: Some companies provide donations based on the hours employees volunteer with nonprofit organizations. For instance, volunteering 20 hours could earn up to $200 in company donations to UCDS, without any cost to the employee.
