SPRING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Spring Ball registration is OPEN! We are excited to start the 2024 season!

KEY DATES FOR SPRING BALL 2024

January 20th: Player Assessment Day - Fisher Field
January 21st: CANCELLED: Team Announcement Day
January 27th: Meet Your Team Day - Standley Amphitheater (3:00-4:30 PM)
January 29th: Practices Begin
February 24th : Opening Day (12:30PM - 2:00PM)
March/April: Games played

SPRING BALL DETAILS

UCDS is currently creating teams for their upcoming Spring season in the 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions. If you register, you will receive a jersey, socks, play approximately 10 to 12 games, and have a chance to compete for a trophy in the end-of-the-year tournament. Please note that 6U teams will play around 6 to 8 games.

Softball pants

* Mandatory. UC Del Sol does have used equipment if needed.

** Mandatory for 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U. Optional for 14U

There is a $20.00 sibling discount. At checkout, use promo code UCSISTERS for the sibling discount when paying by credit card. For all other payment methods, please deduct $20.00 from your total. Thank you!

VOLUNTEER HOURS:

One parent from each player will also have to perform 4 hours of volunteer work (Opening Day/Closing Day, snack bar, field prep, and more!) or buy out for $150. Otherwise, to ensure that each player's family fulfills their volunteer commitment, we require a refundable deposit that will be collected before uniforms are distributed.

USA SOFTBALL AGE DIVISION CHANGES

Please be advised that USA Softball has officially changed the age cutoff date for divisions to September 1st from January 1st. This is a significant change that affects the age requirements for each division. It is important to note that your daughter's age on August 31st, 2023, will now determine which division she qualifies for. Please keep this in mind as you plan for her participation in upcoming softball events.

Divisions:

6U Birth Age: 6 or younger on August 31st, 2023
8U Birth Age: 8 or younger on August 31st, 2023
10U Birth Age: 10 or younger on August 31st, 2023
12U Birth Age: 12 or younger on August 31st, 2023
