SPRING BALL DETAILS:

UCDS is creating teams for the upcoming Spring season for the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions. If you register, you will receive a jersey and socks, play approximately 10 to 12 games, and have a chance to compete for a trophy in the end-of-the-year tournament. Please note that 6U teams will play around 6 to 8 games.

Equipment Needed:

• Glove*
• Helmet*
• Fielding mask**
• Bat
• Cleats
• Softball pants 

* Mandatory. UC Del Sol does have equipment that can be used if needed. 
** Mandatory for 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U.  Optional for 14U

manager/coach interest

If you are interested in managing or helping to coach a team this Spring, please complete the registration form linked to the right.  UCDS will provide the training and oversight to help you out.  Our league prides itself on developing quality coaches/managers and is always looking for new parents to join this rewarding task.

WHAT DO YOUR FEES PAY FOR: 

• Uniform 
• Permits 
• Umpire Fees 
• Field Maintenance & Equipment Repairs 
• USA Softball registrations, insurance, background checks, administrative fees (communications, website, banking, and etc.). 

VOLUNTEER  HOURS:

One parent from each player will also have to perform 4 hours of volunteer work (Opening Day/Closing Day, snack bar, field prep, and more!) or buy out for $150. Otherwise, to ensure that each player's family fulfills their volunteer commitment, we require a refundable deposit that will be collected before uniforms are distributed. 

USA SOFTBALL AGE DIVISION CHANGES:

Please be advised that USA Softball has officially changed the age cutoff date for divisions to September 1st from January 1st. This is a significant change that affects the age requirements for each division. Please review the chart below for reference.
